Taraori THE STORY
Where Dedication Met Determination – Taraori’s Tale
In 2002, inspired by the success of the Kanhai centre, Pawan and Sangeeta Kamra travelled to Taraori, where they met Kuldeep Rai and Ashok, who were running a small coaching centre. The idea of a free tuition centre for children who could not afford tuitions resonated immediately. With support from Jagdev, classes for Grades 6–8 began at House No. 14, near Amirchand Mandir. Soon after, Kuldeep’s wife, Geeta, joined the effort, creating a disciplined yet warm learning environment that shaped the early identity of the Taraori Centre.

Geeta and Kuldeep continue to mentor students like foster parents, balancing academics, career guidance, and digital distractions, while their old-school values and personal involvement have even led to second-generation enrolments.
