polar THE STORY
The Freshest Step in Our Journey – Polar
From the lush green fields along the state highway, a narrow lane opens to a canal and a few residences, where the Shiksha Prayas banner welcomes you. Our youngest centre, Polar, was born on August 15, 2023, to support local school children’s learning needs, and the eagerness in every child’s eye is palpable. Harpreet Singh and Lalit Raheja brought in 30 children even before the centre officially began, sensing the community’s need for better educational opportunities, and approached the leadership with students, space, and teachers. Classes for grades 6–8 started immediately, following the established roster of activities, and over time the centre grew in confidence and standards. In April 2025, Class 5 was added in response to parents’ requests to prepare children for Navodaya School, with Sheetal joining Mamta, Harpreet, and Lalit to strengthen the foundation in all subjects. Polar continues to impress with its creativity, commitment, and enthusiasm for learning.
